The first emphasis of Hope Faversham is to encourage Christians in the town to pray together for an hour each week throughout the year. Each month, a different church hosts to give the opportunity for as many as possible to join in at least sometimes during the year. Early prayer times have been encouraging (we began in January on Saturdays from 9-10am at Faversham Baptist Church, then during February at the United Church on Fridays from 10.30-11.30am) with anything from a dozen to more typically 20-25 people gathering.
Future prayer is planned as follows:
March at Our Lady of Mount Carmel on Tuesdays (6th, 13th, 20th, 27th) from 7-8pm.
April at Faversham Gospel Mission on Mondays (9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th) from 7-8pm.
